Hello,
it is nice having you on my site, you are welcome !!!
A short Biography I
was born on July 27th 1969 to Madam Elizabeth Pappoe and WOII Benjamin
Adom Odonkor. I lived with my step mother at the age of two. In the beginning
life everything was fine because I did not know I was living with my step
mother. When she realized I know she not my mother; life then started
to change in the house. All the best treatment stopped at the age of six.
life was not easy at all until 19 years later. One thing I love my step
mother was that, food and shelter was always there. She was a generous
giver, and will never go hungry. This accounts is not to say she was bad
woman, but then women will have done the worse. SHe really did her best
for me.
My Dad died in 1984 after a short illness. After then life wasn't smooth.
I had only a little to live on, i.e. food, shelter a few clothing. My
real mum had lost her business to the Rawlings regime, so she can
only support with just a little. She also died when I was
in second year at the University of Science and Technology. Then I was
left with my step mother as the only parent. After my father
death I stayed with my step mum though my mother was still alive.
I gave my love her before I got to know she wasn't my mother. I know anybody
would have love his/her mother. All her
children are abroad and I stay longer with her than any of her children
(32 years before i traveled). Now we are the closest
friends. It was not easy to gain this position as a real son.
I had to earn this loyalty to the family. I come from Osu a suburb of
Accra in Ghana. And she come from Abola in Accra. She isn't bad
at all, for taking care of me all these years something that
am grateful for. Not all step-mothers will do this.
I schooled at Datus Primary school (1977-1983) then continued to Tema
secondary school (1983-1990), University of Science
and technology where I read Bs Physics (1991-1994) respectively. On completion
I serviced at the Ghana Education Service at St. Roses Secondary School
Akwatia. I then joined my old school Datus as a JSS
Maths and Physics Tutor for a year. My taste for
a new world led me to Western Telesystem (Gh) Ltd. (WesTel)
here I really got the feel of technology as it is Telecommunication
company. Here I learnt a lot of things so quickly;
some including web site development.
At WesTel I traveled and learnt International and National
switching systems, WLL systems, Microwave, Intelligent network systems,
Earth station and satellite system, dial-up systems and many more. After
3 years in Westel i traveled to Zambia. I was internet love that toke
me there, behind that the passion for IT in South Africa or Botswana.
i chose here because because my girlfriend had relatives in Botswana.
It did not go well like i thought, so feel back to Zambia. here i practically
learnt A+ and networking on my own. i was systems engineer and the highest
paid employer at DCS holdings in Lusaka. this job toke me all across the
northern and eastern part of Zambia, including Living stone, Mongu, Kabue,
Mofurera.
I have been to Botswana, for 2 months and the game life is wonderful.
I saw real elephants for the first time. I saw giraffes, if you like traveling
then visit there, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. I moved to South
Africa on 6th of March 2002. and settled in Johannesburg, around Joubert
Park. It is one of the hottest and Dangerous places to be in South Africa
after Hilbrow also in South Africa. In fact they are nearby.
I have been in Zambia for a year and wow it is a small place in terms
of development. Lusaka is smaller in size and development to Tema near
Accra in Ghana. The population of Accra is the same as Zambia as a whole
i.e. 9 million people. more on Zambia later..
I was in Harare and Balawayo on 2 occasions and it is a great place to see. Balawayo
is the industrial city and it is very developed. Harare is beautiful by all standards.
But Mogabe has ..... the country. i wish them all the best.

Since
2002, i fought to get my papers and a job. with the help of me sister
Dinah in the US ($350) I rented a flat and started a shop near wanderers
street. I struggled to raise rent for the house and shop. The first month
pasted and I survived. With the help of a lady by name Mayan; I got a
job at the Hoesprit Independent school, i only worked for 2 and half months
and got another school down in Johannesburg. Information Technology Training
Academy. Here i trained over about 250 students in 2 years. i also toke
the opportunity to know the culture of South Africans. This guys became
my best friends. In January 2005 I missed a very good at Vasity college
in Santon; because I did not process the A+ and N plus CompTIA international
Exams. So I decided to write them in 3 months. By a miracle, after taking
a competency test with Mweb Business, I got my first permanent job in
South Africa.

The Focus
One thing kept me going, food and shelter;
so that i can finished university, then take the leadership role in the
family. This focus has changed over the years, I have been more self centered;
something i need to work on.....
In all I have learnt a lot socially, academically, (Linux,
Windows Servers and many more. Love hasn't been good for me. I met a lot
of women who loved me; but i did not care that much. As a result of that
I had my baby Girl Palisa Norley. There has been a lot of progress in
the last 4 years of my life. The final and the most important is to get
married.....
I have grown in love with Norley, the bond is there, and
I marvelled at the Love Of God towards us
Norley
